Multiple endings?

Ok. I am hard at work at this map, first off. I am making this innovation of 8-bit Adventure the best update I can ever give it. To achieve this, I am increasing the replay value to make you try to complete all four endings (three if you aren’t on hard mode). I am adding a hidden ending that will become hard for the player to find. I have to work really hard to make this happen, and I’ve decided to stop giving release dates that are unpromising and just work on it. I hope you all understand, and I hope you can wait the extra weeks to get the best experience I can offer with my ability. Remember that this is really hard for me, since I am a team of one and are still a teenager, so I’m sure you wouldn’t even end up recognizing that from the work put into this map. I’ll have more to say soon.

For the Completionist!

Hello again! I, Linkruler, have returned to give another update on what’s going on in this 8-bit adventure update! I now am adding a gallery that is accessed after completing the first half of the map. The gallery has 15 entries of items that you need to fill in (so basically, I’m adding in a CTM part of the map). I have made it so that for most people, you will have to play the map more than once to be able to complete the map. If you didn’t know, I try to make it so that my maps will share a little bit of everything to be able to interest every type of minecraft player. This gallery brings in another element to bring more interest to people who play CTM maps. An update on my progress is that I am still slowly working on the bonus level (I have been working on adding more textures and perfecting all touches to previous areas before I continue) and need to make four more levels. I am sure that I can be able to finish the update soon, but I have had a ┬álot of other things to get done in my personal life and have not been able to deeply get hard at work. I hope I can release it by the end of the month, but I still am not sure. Make sure to check back for more updates on progress and new content of the map soon!

Currency systems!

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably read the title already. 8-bit Adventure is now going to have hidden currency throughout the levels! There will be 5 groups of 32 of this currency to allow you to buy cartridge versions of each game. You will need to be able to buy all of the cartridges in order to complete the bonus level. I have already finished most of the construction for the main game, but am still in the making of the final area, as well as the second, third, fourth, and fifth parts of the bonus level. Stay tuned for more!

New news

Hello viewers I am here to update you on something I think will make you even more excited about the 8-bit adventure map update. I have been working on the texture pack and have decided to put some of my new abilities to use and make animated textures. I have not really planned many of them to be animated, but the appearance will look better and the map will be way cooler. Check back for more!

Update on the update

Ok so as those of you who have heard this already, I am planning a new update for the 8-bit adventure. A while back I said I would release it by mid-May. Well I am currently working on level 5 right now and depending on how long I take to finish level 5, making a new ending area, and finishing the bonus level, I may finish later than planned. Do not lose patience, as I say if you compare this update to the original, I would say its a whole new map. I hope while you all are waiting you can show your support by leaving feedback on the mc forums and be aware that I have pressed a lot of work into this. If you play the map, though, you can tell it is nowhere near as impressive as maps such as hypixel’s work, but I can at least say I am still proud of the work I have done. Check back soon for more news on the map!
